Region Training Conference 2023
When: September 2 & 3, 2023
Where: Iolani Schools Honolulu
These are the steps to registering for RTC:
Firstly, a designated advisor or officer from each club is to fill out this Google Form [HERE] to confirm who from their club will be attending RTC. It will ask for members’ names, phone numbers, and email addresses. Please be sure to submit the form by August 1st, 2023!
Next, attendees must complete the following forms and submit them to their club advisor:
These must be collected by your club advisor, as well as the $75.00 registration fee per attendee. The registration fee includes 5 meals (Saturday continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch), use of Iolani School, supplies for service projects, budget allocated to workshop presenters, and security during the night.

Finally, registration fees must be submitted by depositing into the Kiwanis Club of East Hawaii Key Club Region 18 Central Pacific Bank account and sending a confirmation of the deposit. Advisors, a copy of the deposit slip is attached to this email so you can easily deposit registration fees at any CPB branch.
The money must be deposited by August 8th, 2023. Late registration will not be accepted.

- Each CLUB submits the Google Form below with their attendee names and information by August 1st, 2023
- Each member completes and submits payment & forms to their club advisor
- The club either deposits the payment by August 8th, 2023

Recap: WHAT’S ❓ UP ⬆️ MANOS 🦈??? On August 20th, 2023 we had our August DCM at @kaiserhighschool_hi. In usual DCM fashion, @aria_abe went over this month's achievements 🏅, goals 🥅, district/division announcements 📣, and this month’s recognition 🫡.
Service Project:
In correlation with this month's SOSP 🔦 we helped Kaiser fill some chicken 🐔 holes 🕳️ and helped spread mulch 🪵 around their garden 🪴 area.

Recap: Salutations 👋 Sharks 🦈, This months DCM was on July 16 at Magic 🪄 Island. Aria reviewed our division and district goals and information about upcoming events such as RTC and @cnh_keyclub’s “Miracle Treat Day” with Dairy Queen 🍨. We also discussed the Spotlight on Service Program, the results of the @keyclubint election, and had an interclub chant off! This month's Chant-Off winner is Farrington!
Service Project:
This month's service project was a park clean-up 🗑️! Volunteers were given gloves 🧤, trash bags, and tongs to walk along the park and pick up stray pieces of trash floating around. Thanks for another fantastic DCM 🏖️ Manos 🦈!

What's an Officer Training Conference (OTC)?: Officers attend OTC in order to learn more about their position in their club, to get to know the other officers in our divisions, and be ready to start the school year strong with Key Club! Advisors are encouraged to attend as there will be training workshops for them too. This years OTC will be held along with Komohana!!!

Officer Training Conference (Concerto-TC) took place on July 1st at Iolani School (@iolani_school), hosting over 136 Key Club officers and advisors from around the island! This year Concerto-TC was a Honu/Mano crossover, combining officers from both of our divisions who learned skills that they will utilize during the upcoming school year 😁.
